ILS Gives Back in 2017!

 In Logistics Blog

At Intelligent Logistics, we have a BHAG-to donate $1,000,000 + by 2027 to help break the cycle of poverty in our local communities. With every shipment we move for clients, we set aside money in a separate account and then distribute these funds via a grant process to our team on behalf of the non-profit organizations they support and are involved with. We encourage all of our team members to volunteer and involved in local charities, and provide 4 hours per month/48 hours per year of paid time off for volunteerism.

This is our WHY. It is why we do what we do, the extra little reason behind the reason. It allows our team to champion a cause that is important to them, rather than simply having us pick a group and give money. We want to be involved, and we want relationships with the organizations that we partner with so that we can see the impact of our hours and dollars over time.

We have an amazing team making a real difference in the lives of others!

In 2017, some of the local organizations we supported in Austin and San Antonio included:

Any Baby Can

Georgetown Junior Forum/Boys & Girls Club “Fill The Bus” program

Young Life of Georgetown

A mission trip to repair orphanages in Mexico

Junior Achievement

Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Houston

TexasCompetes.org

Art From The Streets

Salvation Army Angel Trees

John Jay Council Christmas Shoe Drive.
