We celebrate February 28, 2002 as our official birthday, as that was the date we moved our first shipment for a client after months of planning. Our first several years we solely provided freight forwarding services
ILS receives an award for exceeding $1,000,000 in revenue in a single month. Also received Operational Excellence Quality award for metrics.
Our CEO (Tim) buys out the other initial business partner.
ILS obtains a license to offer FTL brokerage services so that we can provide FTL service with an air freight mentality, a sense of urgency and continue to extend the same high quality service performance to clients needing truckload transportation.
Intelligent Logistics ranked 9th fastest growing company in Central Texas in the Austin Fast 50. It would be the first of many such awards.
A new and separate company is launched to be the asset based counterpart and sister company to ILS. This company is eventually renamed as Spur Freight.
ILS makes the Inc. 5000 for the first time, coming in at #551 as one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S.

ILS makes the Inc. 500, ranking #434 in Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. At the celebration in Chicago, Tim meets Bill Clinton and is also given the latest tech gadget-the first edition of the iPhone which had just come out.
Tim and Brandon travel to New Zealand and Australia to visit some Mainfreight’s largest terminals and learn best practices. From this trip, we implemented a number of significant changes.
ILS is inducted into the Inc. Honor Roll for five consecutive times on the Inc. 500/5000 list.
ILS breaks the $10M revenue mark.

ILS opens a second location in San Antonio. The new location has over 48,000 sq feet of space.
